Urban Underground Solutions Inc. is a full service underground utility based company, which was founded in 2002 by Clayton Coffin, and has become a leader in the trenchless technology community.  Starting as a small utility contractor with one machine, we have become a company with a wide variety of equipment ranging from Horizontal Directional Drills, Back-hoes, Trenchers, Plows, Hydro-Vac units, cable pulling, and cable splicing; because if it is underground we have the solution.  Our employees are trained and experienced professionals.  We pride ourselves on being an innovative organization that has the experience, knowledge and resources to complete any and all projects.  We believe that our reputation, strong work ethic, dedication to safety, and the satisfaction of our clients, is a testament to what we value in complete customer service.

Providing service in all areas of the HDD community, Urban Underground Solutions Inc. has completed many projects in both civil and oilfield construction.  HDD is our main focus of business, and what we pride ourselves on.  With our current inventory; machines ranging from 7,000lbs. – 100,000lbs., we are capable of completing a wide variety of projects.  Our smaller HDD rigs are generally used for, but not limited to, conventional utility projects.  They leave little or no footprint, have greater turning radius and are very useful in tight spaces (e.g. drilling around a cul-de-sac).  These machines are ideal for displaceable soil conditions, and are capable of reaming up to a 6” diameter hole.  Our larger HDD rigs are suitable for all ranges of the HDD industry and are fully equipped to handle many different soil conditions.  Built with our tough northern climate in mind, these rigs are structured to be set up within any pipeline right of way.  Complete with all necessary tooling (e.g. Tri-hawk bits, mud motors, mud mixing system), these machines are built to tackle everything; small roads, hotlines, creeks, rivers, and large diameter crossings.
